Our Mission

As a daughter of two jockeys, I was raised in the bustle of the racing world. From a young age I remember watching both of my parents race at Fort Erie Racetrack, Woodbine, and Gulfstream. I remember waking up early to watch my parents breeze in the morning and immediately going back to the track after dinner to feed the horses. I remember hanging out with grooms at the paddock learning how to “spot” a good horse.

I witnessed the heartbreak of my mom and dad losing horses in claiming races, and wondering what life they may live afterwards. They always treated their horses like gold. The best riders, feed, hoof care, they never cut corners when it came to the well-being of their horses. This duty of care for horses was instilled in me and motivated me to start Paint with Purpose.

50% of profits goes directly to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing retired racehorses. Whether that be due to age, injury, or just not fit to race. We get regular updates on the retired racehorses at the facilities to ensure your money is having a meaningful impact. This is our promise.

Thank you for supporting retired racehorse rehab.
